Restoration Work Days

The US Fish and Wildlife Service and the CA Department of Fish and Game, in partnership with Save the Bay, schedule restoration work days throughout the year. You can help put your shoulder to the wheel by volunteering a couple hours to help pull weeds, and plant native species. Check Events & Meetings for the next restoration work day. If you do not see a work day scheduled but would like to be notified of future volunteer events please fill out this form and we will contact you.

Docent Tours

Each year the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service trains volunteers to lead guided public tours of the project. The ultimate goal of the Docent program is to get community members developing and presenting their own programs. While it’s too late to join the 2010 team, please contact Jennifer Heroux at (408) 262-5513 x106 or email her at Jennifer_heroux@fws.gov to learn about other ways to get involved or to sign up for 2011!
