Tide Gauge Data

Two new tide gauges have been placed at Dumbarton Bridge, and the confluence of Coyote Creek and Alviso Slough. The water surface elevation is referenced to both NOAA COOPS NAVD88 and Station Datum. Times are in UTC. Water Surface was water measured every 6 minutes. File is tab delimited, 4 columns [Date(UTC), Time (UTC), NAVD88(meters), Station Datum (meters)]. Preliminary tidal datums are not yet available. Please note that there are some gaps in the datasets; the first three months to meet contract requirements at both sites were April, May, and June 2011. Contract requirement was that gaps could not exceed 3 days total/month. Because there are gaps in the data, these data should be treated as a scatter set, not a time series. These data will eventually also be posted on the NOAA COOPS site. These are preliminary data that have not yet been validated by NOAA.
